Tracks history
Tracks Outdoors, founded in 1996 by enthusiasts in outdoor recreation, in particular whitewater sport where we have revelled and was challenged by the superb yet, steep and technical rapids of Malaysia's premiere whitewater river, the Selangor River.
In 1997-1999, we built up Malaysia's only whitewater center at an idyllic spot at the banks of the Selangor River in Kuala Kubu Bahru. It was a little paradise only an hour drive from Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur and paddlers from all over the world came. By then, we had entertained more than 5000 rafters and many more general visitors and nature lovers.
Tracks Outdoors, then diversified to Malaysia's most scenic island of Langkawi. In 2003, it became known as Tracks Adventures, a more experienced and versatile establishment at its original headquarters for operation in Kuala Kubu Bahru.
Tracks Adventures maintaining its position as a leader in the whitewater industry (i.e. whitewater rafting, whitewater kayaking (proper hard shell) and kayaking courses (all levels), now offers more outdoor recreation packages (i.e cave exploration, canyoneering, rock climbing and orienteering) and also organizing activities, camps and team building programmes to groups of all ages and the corporate world.

What we offer
Whitewater sports are what we do best. Like most of the outdoors sports where experience and the proper equipment is essential, safety is always our priority.
We offer quality services and equipment according to international standards. Our rafts are equipped with self-bailing floors and our kayaks are made by Dagger. As the pioneers of true whitewater sports in Malaysia, we have a base with daily operation in Kuala Kubu Bahru, Selangor in Malaysia.
We also conduct kayaking and rafting trips to several other destinations ranging from mild to wild in Malaysia as well as whitewater expeditions in Laos, Indonesia and Cambodia. However, they are sometimes difficult to access or require a high level of paddling skills, we only carry out such excursions upon request. In order to get a pricing and itinerary to these destinations, please contact us by email, fax or phone. Rivers are graded according to the difficulty from Class 1 (easy-grandma can go) to Class 6 (suicidal).
